Finding a small scale, but not too small couch is impossible no more with the option to choose a size in 5” increments. Love the fabric (Charles basil), the fact that they all have details on rub testing on each swatch so you can get the most durable fabric. The style, quality, and being made in the US are amazing and put BenchMade over the top! Customer service and shipping were great. Would highly recommend.

Before I purchased the Tyler Chaise, I did a lot of research and looked at MANY other similar companies. Ultimately, I decided to go with Benchmade Modern (despite the higher $$$) because of the quality guarantee and customer service ratings. I am so glad I did! Our Tyler Chaise arrived a few days ago, and the quality is amazing! The color was slightly lighter than what I was expecting with the swatch, but close enough to not make a huge difference in the space. This Chaise is definitely firm. I find it to be slightly more firm than I would like, but my husband loves it. One of the legs (back right corner) did arrive slightly damaged with a few scuff marks. However, one email to BenchMade Modern and they offered to ship a replacement part immediately. They were so helpful throughout the whole process -- sending pictures of floor stock items to give me a better idea of what I was purchasing and making changes to my order when I changed my mind on the color. Really happy with this company and will definitely be purchasing our new living room sectional from them in a few years!

I got the 100” sofa with matching ottoman in Charles Basil. It is absolutely gorgeous. The seat is a bit shallower than my previous sofa’s, but I was used to the difference after a week. It’s very ergonomic for actual sitting. The cushions are medium-firm (just right in my opinion) and the back slopes at a very comfortable angle. The height and depth of the sofa back is also perfect for stretching your arms out along it. So far we’ve fit two adults and two dogs comfortably. The fabric is easy to vacuum. Another delightful detail is that the central support is made with from a clear material (lucite perhaps?) so it virtually disappears. I’m very happy I went with matching ottoman too. It provides the look of a sectional without the commitment. On a personal note, I have some sensory issues with velvet and microfiber, and it’s been almost impossible to find a green sofa not made from velvet. Thank you for offering so many wonderful color options in a variety of fabrics!
