Not the right fit? Not the right color? Just don’t love it? We want you to be happy with your new furniture and if you are not completely satisfied for any reason, we’ll accept a return on items that are new or in like-new condition. If you would like to exchange your order for something different, we are happy to help you find the perfect new style or piece. Please review our Return & Exchange Policy below:

 

Returns on Made-To-Order Items (Upholstered Furniture) 

Returns within 14 Days: 

Returns initiated within 14 days of delivery will receive a refund on the full amount paid less the shipping fee. We’ll arrange for free return shipping on your item(s) being returned. 

Returns within 100 Days: 

Returns initiated within 100 days (and after 14 days) of delivery will receive a refund on the full amount paid less a 10% return processing fee and the shipping fee. We’ll arrange for free return shipping on your item(s) being returned. 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES ARE ONLY ACCEPTED ON ITEMS THAT ARE IN GOOD AND LIKE-NEW CONDITION, FREE OF ANY DAMAGES OR STAINS. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTERING YOUR FURNITURE IN ANY WAY WITH AUTOMATICALLY RESULT IN A NON-RETURNABLE ITEM. 

 

Returns on Drop-Ship Accessories (Rugs & Lamps) 

Returns within 14 Days: 

Returns initiated within 14 days of delivery will receive a refund on the full amount paid less the shipping fee. We’ll arrange for free return shipping on your item(s) being returned. 

Returns within 30 Days:

Returns initiated within 30 days (and after 14 days) of delivery will receive a refund on the full amount paid less a 10% return processing fee and the shipping fee. We’ll arrange for free return shipping on your item(s) being returned. 

WE RECOMMEND HOLDING ON TO YOUR PACKAGING FOR DROP SHIP ITEMS. WE’LL PROVIDE A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL AND HELP COORDINATE THE FREE RETURN SHIPPING. THE SCHEDULED RETURN PICK UP DATE WILL NEED TO TAKE PLACE WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS OF THE RETURN LABEL BEING PROVIDED. DROP SHIP ITEMS WILL NEED TO REMAIN IN NEW AND UNUSED CONDITION. 

Returns on Drop-Ship Furniture 

Drop-ship furniture is final sale and cannot be returned. 

 

Exchanges on Made-To-Order Items (Upholstered) 

Exchanges within 14 Days: 

Exchanges initiated within 14 days of delivery will receive a refund on the full amount paid less the shipping fee in the form of a credit towards your new order. We’ll arrange for free return shipping on your item(s) being returned within 5-10 business days and help get your exchange order over to our production team. 

Exchanges within 100 Days: 

Exchanges initiated within 100 days of delivery will receive a refund on the full amount paid (less a 10% return processing fee and original shipping fee) in the form of a credit towards your new order. We’ll arrange for free return shipping on your item(s) being returned within the 100 day timeline or can arrange to have your furniture exchanged at time of delivery on your new order if the delivery and return take place within 100 days.

Please email us at help@benchmademodern.com with your order number referenced, or you may reply to your original order confirmation email. 

 

Restrictions & Limitations:
Our return policy is limited to (1) return or exchange per household. 
The (1) return would apply to all/any items placed under one order. 
You have (5) business days to finalize your return and provide necessary details after initiating your return or exchange with our team.
All items shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada are non-returnable and considered final sale. 
Please note that all exchanges are subject to the current list price and additional shipping fees will apply. 
All exchange orders will be non-cancellable and non-returnable following our 48 hour cancellation window. 
Pieces that have been damaged, scratched, stained, or altered in any way (post delivery) are not eligible for return or exchange.
 
*All orders placed on or after August 15, 2022 will be subject to our updated return policy. This policy has been changed to include non-refundable shipping fees on all orders placed on or after the above date. We will no longer be able to offer 100% money back (including the original shipping fee) on new orders placed with BenchMade Modern.
