I've had my crowd pleaser sofa for about 8 months now, and felt compelled to write a review for it because I'm in love with it, and my experience with benchmade modern in general was so positive. This sofa also had 0 reviews when I bought it (and still does at the time of writing this review), which caused me a lot of anxiety spending this much money on a sofa without trying it out, and with no reviews, so hopefully this will give some future customers some confidence!

~~The Search~~

I had been looking for a couch for my main family room for about 4 months before I finally stumbled upon benchmade modern. I had previously purchased 2 sofa's from other popular higher-end modern furniture retailers. For these other sofa's I went through the "normal" buying process... I went to the showroom's, sat on the sofa's for a few minutes, flipped through their swatches, and ultimately made a purchase. The problem with this process is that you can't really properly assess a sofa after just sitting on it for a few minutes in a showroom. Most sofa's are perfectly comfortable to sit upright on for 5-10 minutes, but how do they feel laying down watching a movie, or sitting down with your laptop to get some work done for a few hours? I quickly realized these other sofas were not going to cut it as my primary sofa once I got them in my home, and ultimately returned them.
