I was a bit reluctant to make the step up to a Benchmade Modern sofa because I'd never spent this much on a couch before, but it really was worth it. Everything from the design consultation to the delivery and set up to the build quality is top-tier. This is such a vast improvement on the online sofa we had before that I'm a little annoyed with myself that we waited as long as we did to make the change. The New York Times brought me to Benchmade, and I've been so happy. The sofa is striking, and it fits the room like a glove. We get compliments from every guest who's seen it and sat on it. In a word: wonderful.

We really like our crowd pleaser sofa - we got the premium leather (Marfa) and love the way it looks. We have a couch dog and know that it will have scratches, but we like the lived in look and chose the leather because of the way it would wear. We got the softer cushions and are so glad that we did because they are a little stiff - hopefully they will break in over time and soften up. We opted for the white glove delivery service and unfortunately, the team delivering had never delivered for BenchMade before and were unsure about how to put it together and I had to stop them from using a box cutter on the box that was clearly marked NO BOX BUTTER. They also asked about taking away the packaging, which was part of the white glove service. They also rescheduled the deliver twice. Not BenchMade's fault, but I expected the same level of professionalism and service that I got from BenchMade. Overall, while being nervous about purchasing a sofa sight and sit unseen, I am very happy with the sofa and hope to have it for many, many years to come.

We really love the style and look of the couch. Has mid-century touches but modern, which really fits in well with our overall living room. We chose Charles Navy for the couch, and Charles Carrot for the two chairs and they go really well for each other. Both are Performance Fabric and our dogs hair will just float off of it super easy. I was really impressed on how well they are built, super solid. They also arrived almost fully assembled and I was able to unpackage and set up quickly. I would definitely buy again, as these are centerpiece items of our house.
