- Standard cushions are made from high-quality, high-resiliency CertiPUR-US® foam wrapped in premium fiber, giving you a supportive, comfortable sit and a sleek look that’s low maintenance.
- Down alternative cushions feature a back cushion that’s filled with 100% premium fiber and a seat cushion with a high-quality, high-resiliency CertiPUR-US® foam core wrapped in down-alternative fiber. Down alternative cushions give you sink-in comfort with a supportive sit & a relaxed look. Regular fluffing keeps your piece looking perfect.

We want our customers to be happy with their purchase, so we offer a flexible return policy should your new furniture arrive and not be the perfect fit for you.
Items returned within 14 days will receive a refund on the full amount paid less the shipping fee. Items returned within 100 days of delivery (and outside of the 14 day return window) will receive a refund on the full amount paid less a 10% processing fee and the shipping fee. Please note that all Pillows and Special Order Items are non-returnable.

After my son bought two sofas from BenchMae Modern, I decided to also purchase this popular design. The Skinny Fat sofa with plush pillows allows for comfort whether sitting up or lounging.
I was happy to have chosen this company who went out of their way to make sure I had what I wanted, when I wanted it. And I was immediately thrilled from the first moment I sat down. It also makes my small apartment look great!

We got the largest Skinny Fat sectional. It fits perfectly in our living room. We chose the Sutton Frost fabric which is great both in terms of color and texture. So far (more than a month) it's been very teenager and cat resilient. One other note: our initial couch had to be replaced as it was dirty when it was delivered/assembled, but the replacement process was straight forward and the customer service folks were great.

My home has no really been my own for close to 25 years. I finally decided I needed to make a change and make my big living room the sanctuary I always felt it should be. My Skinny Fat Sofa Bed in Becket Sage is absolutely lovely. The fabric could not be nicer, and so far has completely held up to household pets. The sofa is VERY comfortable with the standard cushions, and the Becket Sage material is velvety loveliness. The Chaisse has not yet arrived, but should be here within a week..I'm so excited to see it! I'm a very happy customer :D

Our Skinny Fat sofa was exactly what I was looking for, the plush, comfortable cushions with a slim profile. I couldn't decide on the color and the design assist helped pull in the colors of the flooring, the walls and The rug to find the perfect match.
The quality is immediately noticeable, it is heavy, very solid.
I love knowing this is all made in California!
