It’s a very nice piece. 90% better than most sofas on the market. We chose a durable fabric and it’s tough and still soft which is awesome. We have cats and a big concern of ours was them using it as a scratch post. They have a few times but the material is holding up great. Found two little tiny pulls once from their claws and I used a shaving razer to shave it and it came out good as new. Seems if they dont hit the same spot over and over the material can take it. The spot I found i could tell was being used regularly (while we’re not here of course) as a scratch post, and it developed tiny pulls almost couldn’t see them. So this material is robust. The frame appears to be well built, it’s stiff and doesn’t flex at all and the mechanism they use to lock the Chaise to the Sofa is outstanding.

We ordered the stiffer cushions and they’re still comfortable. As you can see in one of the pictures Im still trying to get the cushions to wear in evenly. I try not to sit in the same spot all the time (230 lbs) so that I don’t create a well. In one of the pictures, I took on purpose so you can see that there is a little unevenness between the cushions were the sofa meets the chaise. I need to sit closer to the chaise a few times and it should wear evenly. Only other imperfection is the back of the chaise sits up a little higher than the sofa but it’s not a big deal in my book. Is this sofa made as well as a Knoll? Nope, but it’s half the price point. The stitching on a Knoll is damn…
