Uncle Sal Sectional With Bumper (110" x 100",Bumper On Left)

After spending literally months researching sofas we couldn't be happier with our Uncle Sal sectional with bumper. Prior to purchasing, the company was great about answering my numerous questions regarding construction and materials. My husband is a big guy (6ft. 5 inches, 300 lbs) and I needed to make sure any sectional we purchased would hold up to daily use and not sag after only a few months (like our previously owned expensive Restoration Hardware sofa did!)

The life sized blueprint was incredibly helpful in determining the exact size we needed to fill our spacious TV room without it overly dominating the room -and the fabric swatches allowed me to test every possible thing that might stain fabric (I mashed chocolate chips into it, poured red wine and hot pink prickly pear syrup on it along with every other liquid or food I could think of that might leave a stain and every single one of them came out of the test swatch with just dish soap and water without leaving even a shadow of a stain -even on the pale gray color of the Keen fabric test swatch I used for the test).

We've had Uncle Sal for about 8 months now. I waited to write a review to see how it held up beyond the first few months and we haven't been disappointed with any aspect of the sofa. We love our Uncle Sal, he's become one of the family so fast. It's not even creepy to sit on him all day or fall asleep! All kidding aside, this couch is super comfy. It has some type of magic sleepy dust because if you lay on it, you will fall asleep. The color is perfect. It matched the swatch exactly and fits the room perfectly.

Let's start with the customizing. We wanted a couch to fit a very specific spot. We looked at a lot of different couches but wanted a deep couch. You can't find that anywhere! So here we find the Uncle Sal: a deeper seat with a bumper and custom sizing. Jackpot! Getting the print out of the measurements was extremely helpful. We were able to ensure it fit the spot the way we wanted. Even gave us insight into whether or not we would want a chaise or bumper. The bumper, if you didn't know, is like the best of both worlds. It's like a chaise but still has some back so you can comfortably sit people there. It's love.

We got a bunch of swatched and need something our very large and rough dog and toddler could beat up. The color is great and so far you can't even tell my dog sleeps on it every day (minus a small imprint where he snuggles the couch for ~4 solid hours). Theyve jumped on it, clawed at it, and drooled on it and it's still fantastic.

The cushions are super heavy and comfortable. These aren't your cheap foam that wear out. These things have some heft! When it first came in, they did feel stiff. They've since broken in and are…
