Shipping rates to the 48 contiguous United States vary based on the type of items in your order and the total, non-discounted price of your order. Shipping starts at $149 for made-to-order upholstered furniture & will be automatically calculated at checkout. Shipping starts at $29 for smaller designs delivered by UPS or FedEx.

We want our customers to be happy with their purchase, so we offer a flexible return policy should your new furniture arrive and not be the perfect fit for you.
Items returned within 14 days will receive a refund on the full amount paid less the shipping fee. Items returned within 100 days of delivery (and outside of the 14 day return window) will receive a refund on the full amount paid less a 10% processing fee and the shipping fee. Please note that all Pillows and Special Order Items are non-returnable.

If you are considering purchasing this sofa, run, don't walk, and do it! I spent SO much time searching the site comparing different options, measuring, ordering swatches (which are free and arrive in a flash), and pestering customer service with questions (who are amazing, btw). I ended up choosing the couch potato with the standard fill as I wanted a more firm, structured piece. I can't express how much I love it! It's comfy without hurting my back like other squishy sofas. And it's SO pretty. I adore the color I chose which is "clay". Benchmade will forever be my resource for sofas.

Ordered Couch Potato Sofa in Ponti leather and am delighted. Leather is uniform and attractive, the stitching is without flaws, and the frame feels solid. Cushions (selected firmer) are firm but not board-hard. They give us comfortable back support.
Customer Service was outstanding. We had a delivery complication (no fault of Benchmade) and they were reassuring, helpful, even generous about re-working the re-delivery.

Gorgeous material, super comfy. You can tell the frame is very sturdy. I've already spilled red wine on it and it beaded off instantly.
This will be a couch o keep for a long time.
Delivery was lighting fast and the white glove service was worth it as this is a heavy piece of furniture.

After 15+ years sitting on my old, way-too-broken-in sofa, it was finally time to upgrade my living space. I love the couch potato! It's large enough to snuggle into without overwhelming my space. I went with the firmer seating option and it was definitely the right choice... my hip/lower back pain is GONE. The craftsmanship is top notch and the fabric is just beautiful. And no more creaky frame! The one-on-one design service was awesome and my representative put my mind at ease when I was deciding between the two cushion options (firm or softer). Would definitely buy from Benchmade again.
